Experience

Each project follows the same guiding thread: using design to align around a realistic vision and structure action. My experience spans from working with large public and private organisations, to smaller charity teams or start-ups. Here are a few examples of projects I have worked on.

Strengthening the relationship between the police and citizens through a digital services platform.

As part of a large transformation program within the UK police services, we conducted field research to define a single digital services platform aligned with the real needs and challenges of both citizens and officers.

We then defined the vision and strategy, developed the service offering for the unified platform, and iteratively co-developed the services and their various features.

Making London public transport more accessible to passengers with hearing impairment.

We co-designed and tested various features and approaches to help deaf and hard-of-hearing passengers better navigate London’s transport services and access real-time updates and announcements.

Enable fast-paced distribution of information and editorial content on a centralised platform.

Research and co-design with professionals from the journalism and media sectors, followed by the design of unified platform for content distribution and licensing. This improved ease of access to a wide range of multimedia and international content, for a high-pressure newsroom and editorial teams.

Client: Reuters Media, Reuters Connect

Improving the collaboration methods of a network of organisations, to further the impact of their work on technology ethics.

The Catalyst Network is a distributed network of organisations working on various Tech for Good and technology ethics challenges. I led a collective effort to reflect on current practices of remote collaboration and knowledge-sharing, to enable them to better tap into the potential of their collective, improving communication and collaboration through new ways of working and tools.
